LOVE AND THEFT ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST CHARTING DEBUT SINGLE THIS YEAR
Nashville, TN - Love And Theft achieve the highest charting debut
single released this year as "Runaway" leaps into the Top 10 on the
Billboard and Mediabase Country Chart, making it the first Top 10 hit
for both the band and for Disney's newly established Carolwood Records.
Since
Love And Theft's "Runaway" first hit the charts in March 2009 it has
amassed more than 46,000 spins and over 320 million audience
impressions.
Just days after the release of their debut album,
World Wide Open, Love And Theft's "Runaway" took the lead with the
highest first week digital single sales for any debut country artist
this year, scanning 19,000 paid downloads in its first week of release
according to Nielsen Soundscan.
