LOVE AND THEFT AND CAROLWOOD RECORDS CLAIM FIRST TOP 15 SINGLE
Nashville, TN... (September 14, 2009)...Love And Theft continue to break new ground as the trio's debut single "Runaway" leaps into the top 15 on the Billboard Country Chart, making it the first top 15 hit for both the band and for Disney's newly established Carolwood Records.
Since Love And Theft's "Runaway" first hit the charts in March 2009 it has seen more than 41,000 spins and over 234 million audience impressions.
Earlier this month Love And Theft's Runaway" took the lead with the highest first week digital single sales for any debut country artist this year, scanning 19,000 paid downloads in its first week of release according to Nielsen Soundscape.
Next up in Love And Theft's calendar is an opening slot on Jason Aldean's headlining tour with shows booked from late September through November.
After opening shows for Taylor Swift in 2008.
Love And Theft is currently on the road playing shows and promoting the release of their debut album, World Wide Open.
