We're back! Just like that! ha!

so sorry we've been a little bit negligent for about a week and a half. not to worry, good people of myspace. we still love you this much! (i'm stretching my arms out really wide)

so there is really a LOT going on lately for LNT! Here's my attempt at a somewhat concise summary...

first, just finished an AWESOME week of the CMA Music Fest, which was an absolute blast! We played a little acoustic show at the ABC Block Party stage which was way fun and we got to meet quite a few of you--thanks to all of you who came out to hear us! After that we hurried straight over to the riverside stage where we had the wonderful pleasure of rocking out with our band in front of a FANTASTIC crowd. we cannot stress enough just how diehard and spectacular country music fans are! Geez people! we really freaking love every one of you. you are all so good to us!

so... The Event Formerly Known As Fan Fair was awesome. It was our first one and a great success. We also got to meet a TON of you signing autographs in the convention center, as well as getting beat badly by our contest winners in Rock Band. We also loved the Michael Peterson Celebrity Tractor Race--it was our third year to participate and Stephen tore it up, coming in second by only 3 hundredths of a second!! (so close!) And last but certainly not least, we go to play in the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game at Greer Stadium and it was way too much fun! So many cool people, and us Love And Theftians actually represented pretty well! Stephen pitched and no one could hit off of him, and he even struck someone out! That's right, in slow-pitch softball. A strikeout! He is the Nolen Ryan of slow-pitch. ha! Eric had and I both got a hit and scored once each, and I had the game-winning catch in the outfield, which i shared with Kerry Collins and Jake Owen. That was pretty dang fun, not gonna lie!

next.... be sure to snag a copy of Love And Theft's new Audio-Video EP, "Don't Wake Me," which includes the album cut of Don't Wake Me, plus the official Don't Wake Me music video which you've been seeing on CMT and GAC (and you can see it right now on our myspace if you'd like!), along with little interview intros from each of the three of us, and "The Story of Love and Theft," a video documentary that chronicles our journey thus far... and you get to see Stephen cry in it. What more could you want? That alone is worth the 3 bucks (or whatever it is)! So get on iTunes and grab a copy right now people!! (please?)

Just wanted to let you all know about something really exciting-- We now have an OFFICIAL Love and Theft Street Team! Joining the Street Team will give you access to exclusive LNT stuff, like videos, merchandise, freebies.... AND it gives you a chance to spread the word about your FAVORITE band, Love And Theft! The website is still in the works, but once it's up and running, you'll get a bunch of promotional materials and tips on how to help promote our music! You'll even be able to volunteer to help out at LNT concerts and events!

Like I said, the new website is in the works, but we DO have a MySpace page up and running where the more HARDCORE LNT fans can gather, get to know each other, and figure out how to get started with your work as an Official Street Teamer for Love and Theft!

FIFTH... this has been the best week yet for Runaway at radio, and we wanted to thank every one of you for calling in and requesting it at your local stations. It means SO SO much to us and helps so much you don't even know! things could not be going better and it's all thanks to you guys! you have no idea how much your support makes an impact! So thank you, and please remember that the most helpful thing that any of you can do for us is just spreading the word to friends and family. word of mouth is the best promotion we can get!

well, i'm actually completely positive that i'm forgetting some stuff right now but i'll think of it and talk about it tomorrow or something cause this is already long as can be. oh... as of today, 1000 Twitter followers! yay! thanks everybody! keep spreading the word! and tomorrow is our first ever award show, so be sure and watch the CMT Awards red carpet to see if you can catch a glimpse of LNT! that's all for now everyone!
